Notification settings
Decide which events trigger an email, a Slack ping, or just an in-app notification.
Settings -> Notifications. The defaults are reasonable for most teams; tune them down if you find the volume noisy.
Events you can subscribe / unsubscribe from
- New application on a job you own
- @-mention in a candidate note
- Scorecard submitted by a teammate
- Candidate replied to a message
- Job board syndication failures (Admins only)
- Daily digest - one email at 9am summarizing yesterday's activity
Channels
- Email - on by default for everything.
- In-app bell icon - on by default for everything.
- Slack - off by default. Connect in Settings -> Integrations -> Slack, then turn on individual events.
Hiring volume can spike from 3 applicants/week to 300+ once a role goes on Indeed. The 'Daily digest' option is the right setting if per-applicant emails start drowning your inbox.
