Is ParsleyHR really a free applicant tracking system, or is there a catch?
It's really free, with no time limit. The Bootstrap plan is $0/month forever, with no credit card required to sign up. You get every feature ParsleyHR ships - branded careers page, applicant pipeline, interview scorecards, eSignatures, candidate SMS, 50+ job boards. The single limit is one active position at a time. When you need to hire for more than one role at once, you can upgrade to Team ($49/mo, up to 10 active positions) or Unlimited ($99/mo, no caps).
How is this different from Breezy HR's free plan?
Breezy HR offers a free plan that's also capped at 1 active position, but it strips out interview scorecards, eSignatures, video interviews, candidate SMS, and reporting - those features are gated to the Growth tier ($273/mo annual). ParsleyHR's Bootstrap plan includes all of those at $0.
How is this different from Giig?
Giig is also free forever and supports unlimited candidates. The differences: ParsleyHR includes interview scorecards, eSignatures, offer letters, and candidate SMS at the free tier - Giig's free product is leaner. ParsleyHR also has paid plans ($49 and $99/mo) if you outgrow Bootstrap; Giig stays in the free product surface.
Will you ask for a credit card eventually?
Only if you choose to upgrade to a paid plan. The Bootstrap plan never asks for one - not at signup, not after a number of days, not after you've added a teammate. If you stay on Bootstrap, you'll never see a billing prompt.
What happens when I outgrow the 1-active-position limit?
Nothing surprising. We pause new job postings and prompt you to upgrade or close a role - we never silently flip you onto a paid plan or charge a card you haven't given us.
Can I post to Indeed and LinkedIn on the free plan?
Yes. Every plan, including Bootstrap, includes one-click posting to Indeed, LinkedIn, Google for Jobs, ZipRecruiter, Glassdoor, Monster, Facebook Jobs, and 40+ other boards. No board is locked behind a paid tier.
Does the free plan include the branded careers page?
Yes - including the hosted careers URL, custom branding, and the JobPosting schema markup that makes your roles eligible for Google for Jobs. Same careers-page experience as the paid plans.
Is there a setup fee or implementation cost?
