Getting your jobs on Google for Jobs
ParsleyHR ships the structured data; Google does the rest, usually within 48 hours.
Google for Jobs is the rich result that appears at the top of Google searches for 'job titles in city' queries. It's free traffic and high-intent. Every ParsleyHR careers page ships the JobPosting schema.org markup Google requires.
Timing
Google typically picks up new job postings within 24-48 hours of you publishing. Updates (title, salary, description) re-crawl within the same window.
How to check whether your job is indexed
- Search 'site:yourcompany.parsleyhr.com' on Google. If your jobs URL appears, the page is indexed.
- Open the Google Rich Results Test (search.google.com/test/rich-results) and paste your job URL. It should say 'Job posting detected'.
- Search 'role title in your city' - if you appear in the Google for Jobs widget at the top, you're live there too.
If your job posting doesn't show up after 72 hours, email hello@parsleyhr.com with the role URL. We'll check the structured data and resubmit to Google's indexing API if needed.
